CORRALEJO DUNAS

One of the natural photogenic wonders of the world. Sand dunes have always fascinated me. They have been photographed many times over by famous photographers of the past and present. I visited the Parque Natural de Corralejo in Fuerteventura. The dunes here are sculptured by the winds blowing sand over from the Sahara Desert. Many of the dunes have some form of human or animal footprint activity that kind of spoils the serenity of the place, so I decided to see this as a strength and shoot the distubed dunes, capturing the form of dark shadows against the whiteness of the sand.
